At Metawerx, your entire Operating System, Java, Tomcat and Database server environment is fully managed by default by our Java Hosting PaaS (Platform as a Service).
If you want more control, we also offer the ability to manage your own Java Container at a semi-managed or self-managed level or run a dedicated database instance with your own database root user. In this case, we handle everything else and leave you to alter your own configuration scripts (add Host entries, JAAS etc...). See JVM Types for more information.
